Hare Moong ki Shaami , Bean sprout pattice

  • 1 cup Moong sprouts
  • 2 Boiled potato mashed
  • 3 Green chillies chopped
  • 1/2 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder / Jeera Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Cardamom Powder / Elaichi Powder
  • 1/4 tsp Garam Masala Powder
  • 2 tbsp Roasted chana powder
  • 2 tbsp Fresh coriander chopped-
  • 1 tsp Lemon juice-1 t.s
  • 1/2 tsp Salt-1/2 t.s


  • Boil or steam moong sprouts till 90% done, drain and keep aside,
  • Now take the mixer jar and add chana powder, moong sprouts, potato , lemon juice,chopped coriander and chillies and all the spices,
  • Crush roughly in the mixer,shape into pattice and shallow fry in hot oil
  • Serve with mint chutney and tomato ketchup


If you don’t have roasted chana powder then use bread crumbs
