wash ,peel and chop carrots in medium size pieces.
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds .
When the seeds start to crackle, add asafoetida, green chilies and curry leaves.
Now add turmeric and chopped carrots,peas and salt and mix well.
Cover with a lid and cook on low heat till carrots get cooked and become soft.
Now add mango powder, coriander powder, red chili powder, kasoori methi and sugar and mix well.
Serve with roti, paratha or daal rice combo.
