Ber Ki Chutney

Ingredients

  • 15 Green ber/Indian plum
  • 1/2 cup Fresh Mint / Hara Pudina chopped
  • 3/4 tsp Black Salt / Kala Namak
  • 1/4 tsp Salt / Namak
  • 1.5 tsp Sugar / Chini
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice / Nimbu Ka Ras
  • 1/2 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder / Jeera Powder
  • 5 Cashew Nuts / Kaju
  • 2 tsp Green Chillies / Hari Mirch chopped
  • pinch of Asafoetida / Hing powder

Instructions

  • wash and destone the ber and chop into medium size pieces.
  • In a mixer jar add every thing.
  • Add about 3-4 tbsps of water and grind to make a fine paste.
  • Take out in a bowl and serve .
  • Refrigerate the left over chutney

Serving suggestions - serve as a dip with any snack or as a side dish.
