Apple Mint Chutney

Ingredients

  • 3 Granny Smith Apples / Green apples
  • 1/3 cup Fresh Mint / Hara Pudina
  • 1/3 cup Fresh Coriander / Cilantro / Hara Dhaniya
  • 2 Green Chillies / Hari Mirch
  • 1 tsp Roasted Cumin Powder / Jeera Powder
  • To taste Salt / Namak
  • 1 tsp Sugar / Chini
  • 1 Tsp Lemon juice check notes

Instructions

  • Wash and core (remove the seeds from) apples and roughly chop them (peeling the apple skin is totally optional )
  • Wash and pluck mint leaves and remove the hard stems and roots of coriander. use the tender stems of coriander
  • Take the blender jar and add everything in the jar and add 2 ice cubes OR 1 tbsp water and grind to make a smooth paste.
  • Taste the chutney and adjust the seasoning if needed.
  • Store in a glass jar and keep refrigerated.
  • Easily Remain fresh for a week, use for sandwiches, snacks or as a side dish with stuffed paratha and daal chawal.
  • Enjoy !

Notes

Note-
If you don't have green apples then can also make this with red apples also, just add more lemon juice to balance the taste.
