Ingredients

  • 1 cup Raw papaya/ kachcha papita grated
  • 1 cup Amaranth Flour / Rajgiri Atta
  • to taste Sendha Namak /Rock Salt
  • 1/2 tsp Black pepper/kali mirch powder crushed
  • 2 Green Chillies / Hari Mirch chopped
  • 2 tbsp Fresh Coriander / Cilantro / Hara Dhaniya
  • 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds / Sabut Jeera
  • to fry Cooking oil or ghee

Instructions

  • Wash, peel and grate the papaya using a thick grater.
  • Add salt and keep for 10 minutes.
  • In the bowl now add green chilies, all the spices and the grated papaya and mix.
  • now add rajgira aata and mix it well. if you have raw mango then grate and add in it else can add anardana .
  • Add little water at a time and make a thick batter.
  • In a deep pan or kadhai heat ghee or oil as per your preference.
  • Drop spoon ful of batter in the medium hot.dont crowd the pan
  • After few minutes , turn the sides and fry from both the sides till it become crisp and golden.
  • Serve hot with curd any tangy chutney of your choice
