- 350 ml Vinegar / Sirka
- 2 Radish/ Mooli
- few Green chili/hari mirch optional
- few Ginger slices optional
- to taste Salt / Namak
- 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds / Sabut Jeera
Wash and peel the radish and chop into roundels.
Spread on a plate and keep in sunlight for few hours so the extra moisture dries up.
Wash and slit the chilies and peel and slice the ginger (addition of ginger and chilies is totally optional, but both taste good in the pickle )
Now add the vinegar in a glass jar and add salt and roasted and crushed cumin seeds powder, you can also add some chili powder if you want to make it spicy
Now add the sliced radish in the jar and mix. Make sure that the vinegar should fully cover the radishes.
Cover and let it mature for a week at least then start using.
It stays fresh for more than a year.
Enjoy this healthy guiltfree pickle with your meal
Note-
- you can use any vinegar of your choice if sugar cane vinegar is not available.
- addition of cumin seed powder, chili powder, ginger and green chilies is optional .
