Soya Nuggets Cutlets | Soya Paneer Kabab

Ingredients

  • 2 cup Soy nuggets/Soya bean ki vadi/Textured Soy Protein
  • 1 cup Cottage cheese / Paneer
  • 1/4 cup Corn Kernels / Makai Dana optional
  • 1 tbsp Ginger / Adrak grated
  • 3 Green Chilies / Hari Mirch chopped
  • 1.5 tsp Red Chili powder / Laal mirch powder
  • to taste Salt / Namak
  • 1 tsp Chat masala
  • 1 Lemons / Nimbu
  • handful Fresh Mint / Hara Pudina chopped
  • 1/3 cup Fresh Coriander / Cilantro / Hara Dhaniya chopped

Instructions

  • Soak the soya nuggets in boiling hot water until they become soft.
  • Squeeze the water and wash them with fresh water 2-3 times .
  • In the mixture jar or vegetable chopper add the soya chunks ,green chili, ginger , coriander and crush them to make a coarse paste.
  • Take out the soya paste in a bowl and add all the dry spices ,chopped mint ,gram flour, mashed paneer and corn and mix well
  • Grease your palms with some oil or ghee and take small portions from the mixture and shape into your preferred shape and size. you can even use any cookie cutter to make these cutlets.
  • Heat oil in a wide pan and shallow fry or deep fry the cutlets from both the sides till golden and crisp.
  • Remove on a kitchen napkin when done.
  • You can lightly brush these cutlets with some oil or butter and air fry on 180 degree for 15 minutes.
  • Serve hot with ketchup or mint chutney and a cup of masala chai .
