- 1.25 cup Refined Flour / Maida
- 2 tbsp Cooking Oil
- 1/4 tsp Carom Seeds / Ajwain
- to taste Salt / Namak
Aloo
- 4 Potato boiled
- 1/2 tsp kasoori methi
- 1 tsp Red Chilli powder / Laal mirch powder
- 1 tsp Mango powder
- to taste Salt / Namak
- 1 TSP Green Chillies / Hari Mirch chopped
- 4 tbsp fresh coriander/ hara dhaniya chopped
- 1/2 tsp lemon juice
Take a bowl , add refined flour, oil, ajwain and salt and mix it well.
Now add water gradually and make a stiff dough, cover and rest for 10 minutes.
Make equal size balls from the dough and roll each ball to make a medium thick poori and prick it using a fork.
Now cut the poori in four parts to make four triangle pieces.
Heat oil in a deep pan and deep fry the pieces on medium heat till golden and crisp.
Drain on a tissue napkin to absorb the extra oil.
Aloo
Peel the boiled potato and chop into small pieces.
Add all the dry spices, green chili and fresh coriander , lemon juice and mix well.
Serve these spicy masala potatoes with suhal.
Enjoy suhal aloo with some chutney and chai !
