Butter Chili Mushroom- a delicious starter made with sautéed button mushrooms
I started cooking and using mushrooms quite late because, during my childhood, mushrooms were considered wild and poisonous and were not considered edible. When my kids grew up and started loving mushroom dishes, I finally tasted mushrooms and loved them. Now, I make curries, snacks, and many other dishes with mushrooms.
I recently made this quick starter, Butter Chili Mushroom, for my grandson (who edits my recipes :)), and he loved it so much that I will now be making it regularly.
Ingredients Needed-
- Mushrooms – Choose fresh button mushrooms or cremini mushrooms
- Butter – You can use either salted or unsalted butter to sauté the mushrooms. For a vegan version, you can use olive oil instead.
- Spices & Seasonings – Black pepper, chili flakes, salt, chopped green chili, chopped bell peppers, ketchup ,soy sauce, and vinegar.
- Herbs – Use fresh coriander, oregano, or basil according to your taste preference.
