Being featured in magazines is just a testimony that my writing and recipes are living up to your expectations, and also helps in taking Maayeka to new readers. Its recognition like this that has motivated me to get better at softer aspects of blogging – like formatting, web design, photography etc. Things that I knew little about when I started.
And while it is a great feeling that my thousands of hours (literally!) of hard work are recognized by an established organization – it’s the daily comments, queries, and emails from readers that keep me motivated to get out of bed, get into the kitchen, cook, click, write, post, and repeat.
