Banana Plum Smoothie- A healthy delicious fruit smoothie

Banana Plum Smoothie-  Smoothies are a very good option for a filling healthy breakfast. You can add any fruits of your choice in it . Kids often refuse to have fruits in breakfast but if you give them smoothies then have it happily. You can add any fruits in smoothie. This Banana plum smoothie is my favorite combo for making smoothie.

Plums /aloo bukhara are low in fat and rich in many minerals and Vitamins. fresh and dried plums both are good for health.It is very rich in fiber and antioxidants so give relief from constipation and indigestion, helps to cure flu symptoms and also good for weight loss,is heart healthy as it helps to reduce cholesterol, boost immunity and keep the nervous system healthy, anxiety. But prunes and peach should be eaten in moderation to avoid diarrhea.

We all know about the numerous health benefits of having bananas .It provide all the essential nutrition we require on daily basis.It is very healthy, filling and nutritious snack , is fiber rich so good for digestion and a good source of antioxidants . It support heart health and have good source of potassium which helps to lower high blood pressure and helps to improve kidney health.

This is a very simple yet healthy and delicious recipe to make. Add fully ripe plums in it for a nice taste .If you want to make it vegan then add soy or almond milk in it and can avoid adding yogurt.

Ingredients

  • 1 Ripe banana/ Paka kela
  • 3 Plum/aloo bukhara
  • 1 cup Yogurt / Dahi
  • 1 cup Whole Milk / Doodh
  • 8 Ice cubes
  • 2 tbsp Sugar / Chini
  • 1 tbsp Almonds / Badam sliced

Instructions

  • Peel and chop banana into slices
  • Chop the plums and remove the stone.
  • In the blender jar add banana ,plums, sugar ,ice cubes , milk and yogurt and blend to make a smooth mixture.
  • Now pour the prepared smoothie in the serving glasses .
  • Add few ice cubes and garnish with almond or pistachio slices and serve.

Notes

NOTE-
  • You can adjust the quantity of sugar as per your taste.
  • can add honey or brown sugar instead of adding sugar.
