Mango Salsa- Tangy and delicious Mango and bell pepper salsa

Mango Salsa- A tangy, cool and refreshing mango salsa to enjoy in this summer season.You can serve this as a salad, side dish or can serve this salsa with any crisp snack, nachos or chips. Its very easy to make and need just few ingredients and every one will surely love the tangy sweet and sour taste of this colourful salsa.

I have made few more  mango recipes this season ,Easy home made  Mango kulfi was loved and enjoyed by every one at home. The cool and refreshing Mint and  mango Lemonade is a tangy and delicious drink which is easy to make and taste very delicious and refreshing.

Mango Salsa

Tangy and delicious Mango and bell pepper salsa

Ingredients

  • 1.5 Ripe Mango / Aam
  • 1/2 cup Green bell pepper /shimla mirch chopped
  • 1/2 cup Red bell pepper /Shimla mirch chopped
  • 15 Fresh Mint / Hara Pudina chopped
  • 1 Green chili/hari mirch chopped
  • 1.5 tsp Lemon Juice / Nimbu Ka Ras
  • 1 tsp Cooking Oil
  • 1/2 Pepper Powder / Kali Mirch crushed
  • To taste Salt / Namak

Instructions

  • Peel and finely chop the mango and bell peppers.
  • In a bowl add oil,lemon juice ,mint ,salt and pepper and mix well.
  • Add chopped bell peppers,mango and green chilies in the dressing and mix gently.
  • Serve chilled as an accompaniment with any snack or as a salad or side dish .

Notes

Note-
Don't use over ripe mangoes,mango should be ripe but firm

    This is so yum!! I am surely going to use make it this summer. I am keen on using organic mangoes since that is only what I trust!
    Do you think it will make a difference to taste?

    Yummy salad! Love mangoes but sadly it is seasonal.. my kids love mangoes and during the season they eat atleast 1-2 everyday.. Now, since the season has passed, I buy harvest’s mango juice.. this is thick and rich  can I replace mango with any other fruit for this salad? What do you think is the second best option?
